Welcome to KICKBACK’s official web site. Here you will find information on one of the areas best classic rock cover
bands, the history of the band, bio information on your favorite KICKBACK members, schedules, fan pictures, song list and
much more.
KICKBACK was formed in June of 2006 by former Shadow Road bassist/ keyboardist Joe Haley. Since that time,
the band has been through a few member changes but in July of 2013, the three original members, guitarist Joel “The
Doctor” Fischer, Bassist Tony Guerriero and founding member, keyboardist Joe Haley, decided to bring in a few new musicians
to give KICKBACK a fresh new sound.
Not
changing their musical catalog of songs and after an extensive search, they brought in a more experienced lead vocalist and
frontman Stan Michael Plachinski. Stan’s extensive background in the music field, vocal range and high energy brings
in a new dimension to the KICKBACK sound and stage show. They then brought in veteran lead guitarist Mark Scimeca. With Mark’s
experience on the music scene and his array of influences and playing styles, he gives KICKBACK a new range of material that
only KICKBACK can cover. They found drummer Danie Bedea to hit the skins. With Dan’s driving style, he gives KICKBACK
a new steadier groove that most cover bands can only wish to duplicate.
In January of 2013, after numerous auditions, veteran bassist Tom Bonassisa joined the all star line up. With Tom's experience,unique
bass lines and vocals, KICKBACK will take it to he next level. With original lead guitarist
Joel “The Doctor” Fischer still playing those killer leads that's made Joel a local name on the scene and
Joe still playing the ivory's, KICKBACK has surpassed the test of time with the new line up and makes KICKBACK a band to be
taken seriously. With the majority of the new line up in place since 2013, KICKBACK is
an array of professional, talented, veteran musicians that will keep the KICKBACK reputation intact as NEW JERSEY's #1 ROCK
& ROLL PARTY BAND!
